Raffy's Rockin' Birthday Concert - July 9, 2021

Join Raffy and his friends for his birthday concert gig on SessionsLive.  Tune in on Friday, July 9th at 8 p.m. CST.  What's on the set list?  Think Chuck Berry, Little Richard and B.B King classics.  Aaron Alcala (guitar), Bernard Florentino (drums) and Paul Morrow (bass) will jam with Raffy.  Brothers Jomi (sax) and Pipe Babalola (piano) will join them virtually to add to the vibe.  To get exclusive access to this special birthday concert, log in to Sessionslive.com and join Raffy's crew. Crew membership is $4.99 USD (or $6.15 CAD) per month.  Please note that you are under no obligation to continue your membership after the concert.  If you want to cancel it after the show, remember to log on to SessionsLive to stop it, as your credit card will be charged once per month until you cancel it yourself.   Also note that without a crew membership you will still be able to see Raffy perform and take requests in the future in his free regular streams.

Covid-19 lockdowns prevent us from gathering in public music venues right now, but we can meet virtually, thanks to SessionsLive.com, where Raffy SwapOne and Mary has each recently joined the ranks of singers and musicians from all over the world. Come to the party with us! Dance, sing with Mary, clap or play air guitar from your living room with Raffy.  

Here's how:

• Sign up on SessionsLive.com. It's free. You can visit the website or download their app from GooglePlay or the Apple apps store.
• Find Raffy or Mary and discover when they go live next. You can either scroll through the lists of performers on the website, or find Raffy by clicking this link and Mary on this one.  Don't forget to bookmark them!
• Become a fan and join Raffy or Mary's crew. (Right now you can join only one crew. That's a bummer. We're hoping the site developers will fix that soon. How can we choose between them?) By joining either  crew, you will get a notification whenever Raffy or Mary goes live. They will also accumulate points that will put them higher up in the ranked list of performers.
• If you don't want to join a crew, you can always hit the Follow button on the performer's profile page. You are not limited to the number of performers you can follow.
• Click on Request (see screenshot at right) to see their repertoires and choose a song you'd like to hear, or
• Click on Chat to make your request, say hi, clap or make a comment.

• Like what you hear? You can put some "love" in Raffy's or Mary's  virtual tip jar by purchasing heart tokens on line, choosing a sticker and posting it while they perform. You can buy a little or a lot, $X for X number of hearts. (Hint:  You will get more heart tokens for your money if you buy them from the SessionsLive.com website than from within the app.)
• See who else is in the audience by clicking the Party button. (See screenshot at right).  Everyone has his own avatar. If you see a rotating star in the party crowd, click it. You'll be helping them to collect stars which will help to raise them up in the ranks.  
• Click on Fans to see who else is in Raffy's or Mary's crew.
